Hello,
I would like to add the a Link Hyperlink to my signature so anyone with Lync can click the link and open a communication with me.
Thank you
Use tel:+1XXXXXXXXXX the same way you would use mailto:user@domain.com for hyperlinks, also sip:user@domain.com would allow for an IM.
Thank you for getting my so quickly. I dont fully understand your steps.
What am I dont wrong?
Non of these opened lync so teh person can start typing to me
sip:Corey.Vlasak@wellsfargo.com
sip:Vlasak,Corey@wellsfargo.com
Hello Corey,
Above given format are SIP address format, that will open new email in Outlook or any other email.
Because it will consider as SMTP address not SIP address.
Do below:
e.g. Imagine that your phone no. in Lync is : 1234567891
then update below phone number in signature in same format:
Tel:+1234567891
Once people receive email, they can click on this phone number (line URI), It will open IM window and start Lync call and conversation etc.
Look like below screen.
Let me know if you have any query.

When I click: sip:Corey.Vlasak@wellsfargo.com a Lync IM window does open to that user.
I get:
So if that's the correct sip address and the user has Federation setup it should work. I see presence unknown so the sip address is either wrong or I'm unable to federate.
Hi,Corey,
You can try the following:
Go to the Outlook options, select mail options, and edit your signature. In the editor, highlight the text you would like to add the Hyperlink and click the linkeditor. In the pop window, type sip:<your sip address> in the Address blank area, then save the signature. When you send emails with this signature, others can click on this text to Launch Lync and IM to you.

Sharon
Hi,
I want to use hyperlink on my Outlook signature block. I managed to quick start Lync using sip:user@company.com and it open a Lync conversation.
But to make a quick Lync call using hyperlink, I ddnt manage to get a solution.
Callto:sip:user@company.com only opens phone view but the call isnt made and still need to click to call. is there any possible way to make an automatic call once user click on a hyperlink?
Thanks.
Hi EmmsAdam,
I'm trying to do exactly what you listed in your post - I have not found a solution and was wondering if you found a solution.
Thank you
